1) Overview of What We Collect
We collect information in three main ways: (a) information you provide, (b) information collected automatically when you use the App, and (c) information collected with your permission (such as location).
1.1 Information you provide

- Support and communications: content you submit to customer support (including messages and attachments you choose to provide).
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device information: device model, operating system version, language, time zone, unique device identifiers and similar technical data.
- Usage and analytics data: interactions with features, screens visited, in-app events, and performance metrics.
- Crash logs and diagnostics: logs and related technical data used to troubleshoot and improve stability.
1.3 Location information (with your permission)
If you allow location access, we may collect:
- Precise location (e.g., GPS), or
- Approximate location (e.g., derived from network information),
depending on your device settings and the permission level you grant.
1.4 Cookies and similar technologies
If the App includes web-based components, we may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies (which may include web beacons) to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and support essential functionality. You can typically control cookies through your browser or device settings (availability varies by platform).
2) Photos and Face-Related Information
Lasira does not perform facial recognition and does not create or use biometric identifiers or biometric templates.
If you choose to upload a photo or image for a feature, we apply the following principles:
- No facial recognition / biometric profiling.
- One-time processing only: the image is used for the requested result and then deleted from our servers as described in Section 6.
- Default local storage: where feasible, content and results remain on your device by default.
- Not used for advertising, marketing, or training: we do not use your images to train models or for targeted advertising.
3) AI-Related Features (If You Choose to Use Them)
Some features may involve automated analysis to generate suggestions or insights from the text or images you choose to submit (“AI Features”).
If you use AI Features:
- Your uploaded text and/or images are processed on servers operated by us (our own infrastructure).
- We do not share your uploaded text/images with any third-party AI providers.
- We do not sell your uploaded content.
- We delete the uploaded content from our servers immediately after processing is completed, except where temporary retention is required to deliver the result reliably (in which case it is retained only as long as necessary).
- You are in control: you decide whether to upload content and whether to generate results. You can avoid using AI Features by not uploading content for those features.
4) How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes:
- Provide and maintain the App, including account creation, authentication, and core functionality.
- Personalize your experience, such as preferences and reminders.
- Improve the App, including analytics, feature development, and performance optimization.
- Security and fraud prevention, including monitoring, debugging, and protecting users and systems.
- Customer support, including responding to inquiries and troubleshooting.
- Legal compliance, including responding to lawful requests and enforcing our terms.
We do not sell personal information.
6) Data Retention
We retain information as follows:
- Account data: retained for the life of your account.
- After account deletion: we delete or anonymize personal information within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law or for legitimate purposes such as resolving disputes.
- Usage analytics: retained for up to 12 months.
- Support content: retained for up to 6 months.
AI Feature uploads (text/images) are deleted immediately after processing is completed, as described in Section 3.
7) Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access your personal information,
- Correct inaccuracies,
- Delete your personal information,
- Restrict or object to certain processing, and
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (such as location access).

8) International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.
9) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including:
- Encryption in transit and at rest (where appropriate),
- Access controls and least-privilege practices,
- Regular security reviews/audits, and
- Backups for resilience.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10) Children’s Privacy (17+)
The App is not directed to children under 17, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If you believe a child under 17 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective Date” above and may provide additional notice within the App where required by law. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the updated Policy.
12) Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises out of or relating to this Policy, it will be governed by the laws of our principal place of business (without regard to conflict of law principles) and resolved through binding arbitration, unless prohibited by applicable law.
